Before the store became Happy Bird Gift Shop, it was Bubbles Gift Shoppe, a beloved part of the neighborhood in North Mount Pleasant. Jenn W. and her daughter Mary lovingly started the store in 2017 and built a beautiful business here. Linda L. took over ownership of the store in April of 2025.

Linda spent most of her career in the fashion industry as a product developer and trend forecaster, creating clothing for large chains like Dillard’s, JC Penney, Paul Harris, Lane Bryant and more.  She’s shopped all over the world and finds joy connecting people with product. And while her friends always tease her about how much she loves to shop, as far as she’s concerned, there’s nothing like the feeling of discovery when she finds beautiful things!

Community 

Our store serves the community! We take this very seriously and strive to meet your needs. Shopping at Happy Bird can save you an hour and a half or more versus going down to Coleman or Old M.P.  And while we love the stores down there too, we know that sometimes convenience is more important than a leisurely shopping trip. That’s why we cover all the bases as far as gift giving goes: kids birthdays, baby showers, hostess gifts, little thank you’s and so much more.

And since we’re part of the community, we’re always happy to support it. Silent Auctions, Plant Sales, Cookies, Sponsorships…. We’re all in. Email us or come into the store and let us know how we can support you!
